291. Spielberg

A documentary on the life and career of one of the most influential film directors of all time, Steven Spielberg.
I heard that Steven Spielberg doesn’t do a lot of interviews. I’m not quite sure why. He is very interesting to hear from about how he approaches his projects.

He has done so many great films. It’s impressive to see them when they’re all presented in a row. It is also interesting to see his progression as a filmmaker. From Jaws (essentially a monster movie) to things like Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan. Both very powerful movies.

It’s really worth the time if your a fan or just a casual movie watcher.

My favorite Spielberg film is Close Encounters of the Third Kind, just for reference.
